lochgilphead exceeded our expectations, but 15 cairnbaan cottage was a budget gem. cosy and comfortable, with an excellent view of crinan canal. it had all the necessary amenities and even provided wi-fi, making our stay convenient and enjoyable.

Tv unwatchable due to buzzing sound.

The kitchen could have benefited from some updating, as the utensils and plates were not properly cleaned and the kitchen units were outdated. We also had maintenance problems, such as a toilet that didn't flush and a shower with a faulty switch.

We cannot recommend this place enough - we absolutely loved our time there, despite it being only for 4 days. The fact that there was free parking, no pets allowed, and no smoking on site added to the overall convenience of our stay.

We could imagine sitting out in the front, watching boats go by in the lovely May-October weather. Couldn't recommend it enough! We had a blast in our 4-day stay.
